Windows Vista 硬件評估解決方案加速器是一個可以列出清單、進(jìn)行評估以及生產(chǎn)報告的工具，幫助網(wǎng)絡(luò)管理者有效地檢測一個網(wǎng)絡(luò)中的多臺計算機(最多1萬臺)是否已準(zhǔn)備好運行 Windows Vista 操作系統(tǒng)。Windows Vista 硬件評估使用 Microsoft Windows中的技術(shù)。這些技術(shù)包括 Microsoft Active Directory 域名服務(wù)、 Computer Browser 服務(wù)，以及 Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI)。

目前，Windows Vista 硬件評估 2.0 Beta 版發(fā)布。可以通過 Connect 網(wǎng)站參加公開測試。正式版本預(yù)計于2007年下半年發(fā)布。
